The pizza delivery driver and warehouse worker from Gwent, who chose a number from Les Miserables just like Susan Boyle for his first audition, has said that he would use the Britain’s Got Talent prize money to look after his family.
Jamie, despite being devastated, said to Britain's Got More Talent host Stephen Mulhern that he respected the judges' opinions and thought he had done well to get so far considering his nerves. He also said that he planned to stay in showbusiness and take it one step at a time.
There was a major TV shock tonight as Welsh singer Jamie Pugh did not make it through to the Britain’s Got Talent 2009 live final on Saturday.
After performing a shaky rendition of The Impossible Dream from the musical Man of La Mancha, he did not receive enough public votes to get into the top three.
