Shaina Magdayao and John Prats break-up. What is the reasons behind break-up of Shaina Magdayao and John Prats? After weeks of keeping mum on the break-up rumor, Shaina Magdayao finally confirmed that she and John Prats have split up.

Magdayao told abs-cbnNEWS that they ended their relationship in December of last year. "Gaya ng lahat ng break-up, hindi siya maayos. Pero ginagawa namin ang lahat para ma-save ‘yong friendship namin."

The young actress declined to divulge the reasons behind the break-up.

She, however, maintained that there is no third party involved. She made this clarification amid speculations that the 2 were already interested in other people.

Magdayao is being romantically linked to John Lloyd Cruz, while Prats is rumored to be dating actress Denise Laurel.

"Wala pong third party. I think if there's anyone to blame siguro kaming dalawa lang ‘yon… at huwag na tayong mang-damay ng iba pa," she said.

To cope with the heartbreak, the actress said she is drawing strength from her family and friends.

Magdayao is also expected to be busy this year. On Tuesday Magdayao signed a 2-year exclusive contract with ABS-CBN. She is gearing up for her newest television series, "Rubi."
