Survivor Philippines: Episode 16, Multiple Choice

Survivor Philippines Castaway Multiple Choice

It seemed like Jarakay was having a mean stroke of bad luck.

After a calculated vote against Gigit in their first Tribal Council, Jarakay had to face another unexpected hurdle with a double elimination.

Shocked and suddenly caught off guard, Charisse said she couldn't quite understand how Jarakay was only defeated once in the Immunity Challenge but two tribe members have to take the boot.

Paolo explained that the second round of voting is a calculated double elimination to trim down the number of castaways since Survivor Philippines started with 18 instead of the usual 16 castaways.

As Paolo tallied the votes, it was evident that Jarakay was indecisive because of their multiple choices.

Nina, who was the original choice of the "muscle tribe" to be voted off, got two votes.

Patani, who was the second choice for the "muscle tribe" to be the next cast-off, got two votes.

While Nikki, who cried due to homesickness and was considered the weakest member of the tribe, also got two votes.

A not so surprise vote was cast for John from one of the tribe members who clearly stated that she didn't want him to come back to the tribe: Charisse.

Toward the end of the tallying of votes, one clincher remained that would send either Nina, Patani or Nikki home.

In case, there was a tie, Paolo said there would be another round of voting for a tie breaker.

In the end, the last vote was given to Patani, making her the second cast-off from Jarakay and the fourth castaway to get voted out of Surivor Philippines.

Patani's last words:

"Sayang hindi ako nagtagal dito. Pero mapasama lang sa Survivor, malaking karangalan na para sakin....nagkaroon na ko ng exposure."
