Aidan Davis performed "Rock Your Body" in Britain's Got Talent semi-finals (with Video). Aidan Davis, 12 year old, performed Justin Timberlake’s “Rock Your Body” on the semi finals of Britain’s Got Talent. As expected the judges and the crowd were stunned with his rocking body moves.
While his moves were reflected multiple times behind him. He was automatically put through to the final after receiving the most number of votes.
“You absolutely blew me away there. I thought your audition was unbelievable and didn’t think you could top it but you blew the roof,” Amanda said. Simon told him, “whatever it is, you’ve got it.” Piers joined the compliments by comparing Aidan to a young Timberlake.

Hollie Steel breaks down on live performance in Britain's Got Talent, but still she made it through the final (with video).Hollie Steel, broke down on stage as she forgot the words to Edelweiss half way through her performance. Hollie Steel, the 10-year-old singing ballerina from Lancashire has made it through to the Britain’s Got Talent 2009 final.
Hollie Steel, the 10-year-old singing ballerina from Lancashire has made it through to the Britain’s Got Talent 2009 final. Hollie was the auditionee who everyone thought would be ballet dancing, but ended up wowing everyone with her sophisticated rendition of I Could Have Danced All Night. Hollie started dancing lessons when she was four and joined a theatre group aged six.
Tonight, Hollie Steel sang Edelweiss from The Sound of Music and was put through to the final by the judges' unanimous votes, beating singer Greg Pritchard.
Hollie appeared confident as she began to perform. Wearing a baby pink dress, she sang the first part without a wobble, but then appeared to forget her words. A brief moment of tears passed quickly, she recovered and then continued with the song.
But shortly after she went quiet again and she broke down in tears. Judge Amanda Holden went forward to comfort her and Hollie's mother also went to the stage to reassure her daughter. The performance stopped and then Hollie begged to be allowed to start again. Simon Cowell promised a tearful Hollie that she would be allowed to try again.
After a commercial break, Hollie returned to the stage and, apart from a few wobbles, made it to the end of her performance.
The judges were full of praise for the ten-year-old. Simon Cowell described her as "the bravest girl in the world." He told Hollie that she "nailed the last note." Piers Morgan said "it was one of the gutsiest things I've ever seen in my life." Amanda Holden described Hollie as "a little professional."
The grand final of Britain’s Got Talent is on Saturday at 6.45pm, followed by the results show at 9.30pm

Hayden Kho: Katrina Halili gave me drugs. Dr. Hayden Kho bared today that actress Katrina Halili supplied him illegal drugs at the time they were together.
"Katrina asked me to take drugs, [but] I didn't want to take it at first," he said.
Speaking at today’s Senate hearing on the video sex scandal involving him and several women, Kho said he took the banned drug Ecstacy while making some of the videos.
Kho also told the Senate Committee on Youth, Women, and Family Relation that it was Halili who introduced him to illegal drugs.
Halili, meanwhile, denied Kho's claims, saying she had been in love with the cosmetic surgeon and took their relationship seriously.
Britain's Got Talent: Stavros Flatley, father & son, traditional Greek dancing with Riverdance performance (with Video). They brought down the house last night as they performed to Zorba The Greek - each in a fez, white skirt, and black shoes with red bobbles. Their backing dancers were family pals who also used to work at the eatery.
Simon told them: "It is rubbish but brilliant. It is incredibly infectious. The final would be a worse place without you."
Amanda added: "I just love, love, love, love, love you. It is everything this show should be about."
The duo will now join fellow finalists in the showdown finale this Saturday.

Shaheen Jafargholi sings "And I Am Telling You I'm not Going" in Britain's Got Talent (with video). Shaheen Jafargholi doing his Britain's Got Talent semi final performance “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from the musical ‘Dreamgirls’ by Jennifer Hudson.
Shaheen Jafargholi was definitely the highlight of tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent. Simon was completely right about tonight’s episode of Britain’s Got Talent being just weird. It was certainly a variety show tonight and not a very good one at that. However, Shaheen was quite entertaining.
What was so shocking to me was how well spoken Shaheen was during the interview and critique. For a 12 year old, he was amazingly thoughtful in his responses to the questions.
I personally think it wasn’t the best song choice, but he still did it well enough to make it to the finals so I guess it didn’t matter. I also think it’s worth mentioning that his future will be interesting once his voice starts to change. One thing is certain is that he has the ear that’s needed to be able to sing well.

Mike Tyson's daughter, Exodus Tyson, died in treadmill tragedy. Former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson's four-year-old daughter died on Tuesday, a day after accidentally catching her neck in a cord on a treadmill at her home, police said.
"I was just advised by investigators that Exodus Tyson was pronounced deceased at 11:45 am today at the hospital," Phoenix police spokesman Andy Hill said. "Our sympathies go out to the family."
Exodus Tyson had been hospitalized on life support since Monday, when she was found with her neck wrapped in a cable of the exercise machine by her seven-year-old brother.
The boy summoned his 34-year-old mother from another room, and the woman freed the girl, called an ambulance and tried to revive her.
Tyson, who doesn't live in the modest Phoenix house where the accident occurred, arrived Monday afternoon from Las Vegas and was filmed by television news cameras entering the hospital where Exodus was being treated.
"We are grateful for the tremendous outpouring of love and prayers from all over the world," the family said in a statement.
"There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus. We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal."
Hill said Monday that the police investigation of the scene indicated a "tragic accident."
"Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there's a cord that hangs under the console - it's kind of a loop," Hill said.
"Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it."
Tyson, 42, had been in the news this month with the US release of the film "Tyson", a documentary directed by James Toback that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last year.
It offers an engrossing portrayal of the turbulent life of Tyson, from his humble beginnings on the mean streets of Brooklyn to his phenomenal rise as the youngest heavyweight world champion in history, through his epic fall marked by addiction, humiliation in the ring and a rape conviction.
Tyson exploded on the boxing scene in the mid-1980s, becoming the youngest heavyweight champion in history in 1986 at the age of 20.
Considered unbeatable for the rest of the decade, Tyson's career went off the rails when he suffered a shock upset to James "Buster" Douglas in 1990.
In 1992, Tyson was convicted of raping a beauty queen at a pageant in Indianapolis, Indiana. He served three years of a six-year sentence and was released in 1995 - and has always denied raping the woman.
"Iron Mike" reclaimed the heavyweight throne but lost to Evander Holyfield in 1996 and notoriously bit Holyfield's ears twice in a 1997 rematch, adding banishment to his ridicule.
Tyson was jailed again in 1999 for assaulting two people following a traffic accident.
One final chance to recapture the heavyweight crown in 2002 resulted in an eighth-round knockout at the hands of Britain's Lennox Lewis.
Tyson filed for bankruptcy in 2003 and retired after losses to Britain's Danny Williams in 2004 and American Kevin McBride in 2005.
Tyson, who has been married twice and has six children with several women, was sentenced in 2007 to 24 hours in jail and three years of probation after pleading guilty to charges of drug possession and driving under the influence in Arizona.
While Tyson's tumultuous personal life and sometimes outrageous behavior overshadowed the later stages of his career, film maker Toback says Tyson occupies a unique place in ring history.
"There are certain people in various fields, they just become the representative, iconic figure of that profession," Toback says. "To me as a boxer, as a fighter, it's Mike Tyson."

You had a bunch of kids working on this campaign together, and it was such a mix of the serious and momentous and just the silly ways that we are. For people in my generation, it was an unbelievable way to grow up."

Jamie Pugh sings "The Impossible Dream" in Britain's Got Talent (with Video). The Impossible Dream from the musical Man of La Mancha. Jamie was the subject of much controversy following his show-stopping first audition in Cardiff. He overcame his nerves to give what he said was his first performance in front of a large audience, but it was later revealed that he had performed in a West End theatre. But, despite being branded ‘a fake’ by judge Amanda Holden, the public were initially still behind Jamie and his surprising voice and he was one of the favourites to win the show's final.
The pizza delivery driver and warehouse worker from Gwent, who chose a number from Les Miserables just like Susan Boyle for his first audition, has said that he would use the Britain’s Got Talent prize money to look after his family.
Tonight, the judges gave a mixed reaction to Jamie's performance. Piers Morgan admitted that he had loved his audition but his voice wasn't as good tonight. Amanda Holden, who buzzed during the performance, said that she didn't feel comfortable watching him. Simon Cowell told Jamie that his last note was very good but as an overall performance, it wasn't good enough.
Jamie, despite being devastated, said to Britain's Got More Talent host Stephen Mulhern that he respected the judges' opinions and thought he had done well to get so far considering his nerves. He also said that he planned to stay in showbusiness and take it one step at a time.
There was a major TV shock tonight as Welsh singer Jamie Pugh did not make it through to the Britain’s Got Talent 2009 live final on Saturday.
After performing a shaky rendition of The Impossible Dream from the musical Man of La Mancha, he did not receive enough public votes to get into the top three.

Shaun Smith sings "With or Without You" by U2 in Britain's Got Talent (with video). The 17-year-old student from Lichfield sang Ain’t No Sunshineat his first audition, creating such a buzz that the original version of the song by Bill Withers shot back into the charts decades after its release. Shaun sang the same song in a school talent contest aged 13 which lead to a part in his school show, can he now go one step further to win this year’s Britain’s Got Talent and sing in front of the Queen?
Shaun has been performing on stage since the age of 12 but he has always been a performer and was doing Elvis impressions when he was four. He wants to be known for having a good voice and would love to perform at the Carling Academy in Birmingham. He just wants to make people happy through his singing.
Shaun admitted to hosts Ant and Dec that he was absolutely terrified performing in the semi-final. But the judges were extremely happy with his performance. Piers Morgan said that he was initially unsure that he had picked the right song, but he, "showed us what you've got." Amanda Holden was pleased that she had earlier asked him to be more confident and he had done as she'd requested in his song choice. She also said that, "Susan Boyle has got big competition." Simon Cowell agreed that it was a, "brilliant choice of song," and described Smith as a, "dark horse." Shaun’s big love other than singing is rugby, which he plays three times a week. He has said that if he wins the prize money he will buy himself a car big enough to carry his rugby chums about in.

Britain's Got Talent: Flawless Dance Troupe in semi-finals performance (with video). The boys of Flawless have been together for four years and practice daily. As they swaggered out on stage for their audition they struck me as one of the coolest acts the show has seen to date and then they performed the most amazing and energetic street routine.
After performing a military themed routine, dance troupe Flawless sailed through to the final of Britain’s Got Talent, winning the most votes from the public.
The all-male dance group wowed the judges and the audience with a smooth, high-energy dance number.
“What a way to end the show,” said host Dec.
The ten guys formed Flawless four years ago in North London. They joined the competition to prove that Britain has more talented dance groups than the Americans.
Amanda: “Fantastic performance tonight. Well done.”
Simon: “We’ve seen some utter junk tonight and that was utter genius.”
Piers: “Quite unbelievable performance.”

Yasmien Kurdi filed a complaint against Baron Geisler, alleged harassment to stop (with news video). Young actress Yasmien Kurdi has said that she filed a complaint against award winning actor Baron Geisler because she wanted his alleged harassment to stop.
"Siyempre po nakakatakot din po. Ako kasi ayaw ko pong manatili ng ilang panahon na nanahimik. Hindi po ako nananahimik at hahayaan ko ito na patagalin ng patagalin. Hindi po ako ganoong klaseng tao," Kurdi told ABS-CBN News.
On Monday Kurdi filed before the Philippine National Police (PNP) charges of acts of lasciviousness and unjust vexation against Geisler.
Kurdi lodged her complaint before the PNP Women's Crisis and Child Protection Center in Camp Crame in Quezon City.
The actress’ camp is still studying the possibility of seeking a temporary restraining order against Baron to stop him from allegedly harassing her.
"Pag-uusapan pa din namin 'yong next action. Kasi hindi pa din namin alam kung ano ang action [na gagawin namin]," Kurdi said.
According to Kurdi’s lawyer, Ferdinand Topacio, there were at least four incidents of harassments that began on May 21, or during the taping of miniseries “Suspetsa.” Kurdi and Geisler are the lead stars of the miniseries.
The lawyer said the harassment occurred in front of the production staff. He also disclosed that Geisler had allegedly sent his client lewd text messages.
As for reports that Geisler was drunk during those instances, he said this is not an excuse for his behavior.
Kurdi's accusation came in the middle of the sex scandal involving actress Katrina Halili and Dr. Hayden Kho. The young actress, however, clarified that she is not using her case as a publicity stunt.
"Hindi po namin ginagawa ito dahil gusto naming magkaroon ng isyu, parang Katrina or something. Si Katrina nagkaroon siya ng isyu two years [ago pa] 'yon. Ako, ito bago pa lang," she said.
ABS-CBN News tried to get Geisler’s side but he declined to comment.
This was not the first time that Geisler has been accused of harassment. The daughter of celebrity couple William Martinez and Yayo Aguila had also charged the young actor with acts of lasciviousness and unjust vexation.

She starts a bit pitchy, but she picks up her confidence and gets the act together. The crowd is cheering. One thing is for sure by now, she is definitely getting the vote. Amanda is almost bursting into tears. Simon seems mesmerised. And oh, here she goes to the higher scale, and as the song ends -A New Day Has Begun, it is indeed that. Everyone stands up, and she gets a standing ovation. Lines are open, and her code: 08. She feels fantastic about the performance.
Piers: The world is watching you.
Amanda: I am biting my acrylic nails.
Simon: I apologize for the way we treated you on the first performance.
Ant and Dec: She is not from Barcelona (I really don’t know which one is which).
Britain's Got Talent: Diversity Dance Troupe in their performance (with Video)
Many top dance acts have appeared on BGT series three so far - but up there with the best are Diversity.
Closing this week's show, the eleven-strong street dance team proved that dedication and teamwork are the qualities dance acts need to succeed on Britain's Got Talent.
Using choreography which Simon described as 'genius', they tore up the hall with dance moves ranging from a slo-mo Chariots of Fire pastiche to the inclusion of a secret member who jumps out of a bag!
The Essex-based team all do normal day-to-day jobs but would love to dance for a living, according to the group's mentor and founding member, Ashley.
Amanda loved them - and not just because they were fit lads! She cheered: “This show is brilliant because, just when I think I have seen it all and nothing could get any better, you came on.”
The judging panel agree on a yes vote - and Piers pronounces Diversity to be “right up there with the best of the dancers we have seen”.

Sue Son, violinist, failed to make it in the finals of Britain's Got Talent during the semi-finals round last May 24, 2009. Very grand sound, and the piece is beautiful. She even says that she could have done better, but she is happy with the audience vibe.
Judges:
Piers: That was terrific
Amanda: You are a vixen with a violin.
Simon: I would always sacrifice friendship for success. You are really really good, but your personality didn’t come out on that performance.

24-year-old Julia from Latvia wants to share her talent with the audience and would just be honoured to perform in front of the Queen. The judges have been quite hard to please in the past, but it seems Julia's going to win hands down tonight...
Watch UFC 98: Lyoto Evans VS Rashad Machida. In Las Vegas, Lyoto Machida waltzed through a brief workout inside a locker room Wednesday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, three days before he is to challenge Rashad Evans for the Ultimate Fighting Championship light heavyweight title.
Machida circled his sparring partner, warily moving in and out, flicking a few jabs and throwing kicks in which it was never quite clear until the very last moment whether he’d fire the right or the left.
After only about five minutes, Machida grabbed a towel and walked off the mat.
“If you want to know more,” Machida said, beaming, “then you have to buy the pay-per-view.”
Evans doesn’t have the luxury of watching the pay-per-view to figure out the most unusual style seen in years in the UFC. Machida is the most elusive man in the sport and is the UFC’s hardest-to-hit fighter.
Given that Evans, a one-time wrestler at Michigan State, has become something of a slugger in recent years, not being able to land would be a major problem. Evans, though, hardly seems concerned.
He’s been underestimated for most of his career and relishes the role as the underdog. He’s a 9-5 underdog and said he’s put money on himself to win and retain his belt.
While catching Machida seems more confounding than Rubik’s Cube, Evans believes he’s solved the riddle.
“He doesn’t get hit much, but he does have holes,” Evans said of his unbeaten rival.
Evans has heard about the supposed holes in his game almost continuously since he entered the UFC after winning the heavyweight division in Season 2 of “The Ultimate Fighter.”
When he beat Stephan Bonnar in 2006, an enraged Bonnar claimed that Evans did little more than take him down and lay on top of him.
When he faced Tito Ortiz in 2007 – a draw that remains the only blemish on Evans’ record – Ortiz chided him as a mediocre wrestler who wouldn’t be able to handle himself with the upper echelon of mixed martial arts fighters.
“I’ve heard it all,” Evans said.
And that is the one thing that is perhaps more confounding than Machida’s style. There are many MMA experts who would argue that wrestling is the best base a fighter can have.
Evans has that, but he also has quickness both with his hands and his feet. He’s got the kind of one-punch knockout power that made Chuck Liddell a cult figure in the sport. He knocked out Sean Salmon with one of the best head kicks ever, then used his fists to stop both Liddell and Forrest Griffin.
Evans, though, doesn’t seem to carry the respect that his record and his accomplishments would suggest that he should.
“Rashad, he’s beaten some real tough guys,” ex-UFC lightweight champion Sean Sherk said. “He’s really underestimated. Look at the guys he’s beaten. He’s [13-0-1], I believe, and he’s beaten some great guys. But a lot of people underestimate him.”
One of those who underestimated him is UFC president Dana White. From the first time he saw Evans during filming of “The Ultimate Fighter,” White was left wanting more. He didn’t see a guy he felt wanted badly enough to be great.
He’d watch as Evans would waltz through a practice session and shake his head.
“I was thinking, ‘Does this guy know he’s blowing this incredible opportunity we’re giving him?’ ” White said. “If you would have told me then that this guy would go on to win the title and become one of the best fighters in the world, I’d have had you tested.”
But the winner on Saturday would have a very real argument to make for himself that he’s the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. Each has defeated a laundry list of the toughest men in the sport.
Machida has beaten three former UFC champions and would add Evans to a list that includes Rich Franklin, B.J. Penn and Ortiz on Saturday if he wins and goes to 15-0. But Evans has also beaten two ex-champions in Liddell and Griffin, drew with Ortiz and has quality wins over guys like Bonnar and Michael Bisping.
There’s little not to like about him, though Machida professes to have found at least one weakness.
“Me and my family, my Daddy, my brothers, everybody has watched and seen his weakness,” Machida said. “But I prefer not to say right now. I will show you on Saturday.”
If Machida has, indeed, found an area in Evans’ game he can exploit, he’ll be the first man to do so. White is mystified why Evans, who is ranked fifth in the Yahoo! Sports pound-for-pound poll of the world’s best fighters, can’t gain more respect.
“I don’t know what more he has to do to convince people how good he is,” White said. “In Season 2, he beat the [heck] out of heavyweights. He’s not a big guy, so that had to impress you. But with Rashad, everyone always found an excuse. Rashad, though, he just kept winning and racking up these highlight reel kayos. The kid’s a human highlight reel.
“He’s made a believer of me. You don’t beat the guys he’s beaten and you don’t beat them the way he’s beaten them if you’re not a true elite guy. When you’re talking about the best guys, Rashad is right up there with them.”
