Manny Pacquiao behind over Krista Ranillo issue

Manny Pacquiao behind over Krista Ranillo issue. About alleged affair with sexy star Krista Ranillo, People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao has lashed back at his detractors for focusing too much on his private life instead of his feat.

“Kaya siguro tayo hindi umaasenso, pinakikialaman nila ang personal na buhay ng iba. Ang sa akin, siguro pagtuunan lang [natin] ng pansin [ang] dapat trabahuhin [natin]. Hindi ‘yong private life [ko],” Pacquiao told ABS-CBN News.

He added: “Sana i-honor nila ‘yong na-achieve kong achievement para sa ating mga Filipino. Like what I said, alisin muna natin ang tinatawag nating crab mentality. Nakikiusap ako sa inyong lahat na… magkaisa tayong lahat para masaya tayong lahat.”

The People’s Champ, however, still refused to put all speculations to rest.

“No comment ako about that issue. Tahimik lang ako. Bahala na silang mag magke-kuwento,” he said.

Speculations about Pacquiao and Ranillo’s alleged affair surfaced after the two began shooting for their film “Wapakman.” Rumor has it that the two were spotted spending time together in Hong Kong.

Ranillo’s talent manager, Arnold Vegafria, has already dismissed the speculations, saying that the boxer and the sexy star were just “good friends.”

The rumors have reportedly put a strain on Pacquiao’s marriage. This was apparent during a Thanksgiving mass held after his bout with Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pacquiao’s wife, Jinkee, burst into tears as the priest, in his homily, talked about love and the importance of family.

Footage showed that Pacquiao tried to console Jinkee but she shunned him. She instead turned to her female friend for comfort.

Meanwhile, when asked if Ranillo was aware of the rumors, Vegafria said: "She's very aware of what's happening but she just laughed it off. And I spoke to her, she denied it. Sabi niya sa akin Manny is a married man and hindi siya pwedeng makisali. So ganoon, hanggang friends lang.” Source: ABS-CBN News

Rumors linking Krista Ranillo to Manny Pacquiao

Rumors linking Krista Ranillo to Manny Pacquiao. According to report that aired on Sunday showbiz-oriented show touched on rumors linking Krista Ranillo to pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao.

Entertainment journalist Jobert Sucaldito said on ''The Buzz'' last Nov. 8 that Jinkee, Manny's wife, is so jealous of Krista that she is reportedly thinking of canceling her trip to Las Vegas for Manny's match with Miguel Cotto.

Jobert added that his source confirmed Manny and Krista are in a relationship.

Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao disproved the rumor in her interview with Kris Aquino.

'''Yong mga intriga, hayaan na lang natin. Unang sumisikat ang anak ko dahil sa kagalingan niya. 'Wag kang maniwala,' sabi ko kay Jinkee,'' said Mommy D.

Jinkee flew to Las Vegas in the morning of Nov. 9. She said she did not bring her kids along because they have school.

Regine, Ogie to attend his ex-wife's wedding

Couple Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid announced that they are attending Ogie's ex-wife Michelle Van Eimeren's wedding with Mark Murrow this month.

Asked if they are planning to tie the knot soon, Regine said some matters still need to be settled.

''Marami pa kaming kailangang i-settle. But when the time comes, siyempre gusto rin naming mag-settle [down],'' the Songbird said.

Meanwhile, Regine reunites with Aga Muhlach for their third film after 10 years titled ''Of All The Things.''

The movie, Regine said, requires passionate kissing scenes from the both of them.

''It's a love story, [so] siyempre kailangang may mga passionate kissing scenes. Hindi mo naman puwedeng limitahan 'yun...passionate nga eh!'' she said.

Gina Alajar, Niccolo Cosme out of 'Celebrity Duets'

Gina Alajar and Niccolo Cosme got the boot on ''Celebrity Duets'' last Nov. 7.

This leaves Akihiro Sato, Joel Cruz, and Jomari Yllana to vie at the finals.

''I feel okay. I don't feel devastated naman. This is an experience na hindi ko mabibili,'' said the photographer.

''I'm relieved. Di ako mag-a-undergo ng stress like the three of them would,'' said the actress-director.

Roselle Nava: Marrying on Jan. 2010

Roselle Nava: Marrying on Jan. 2010. Roselle Nava is marrying to Allen Tan on Jan. 17, 2010. The wedding to be solemnized at Manila Cathedral and the wedding reception at the Palacio de Manila.

Roselle, 33, is wearing her heart on her sleeve for a good reason she’s very much in love with Allen Tan, 32, her boyfriend of nine years whom she’s marrying on Jan. 17 next year at a wedding to be solemnized at the Manila Cathedral (reception follows at the Palacio de Manila, a tent located near Diamond Hotel on Roxas Boulevard).

Asked which song from the CD she’s dedicating to Allen, Roselle singled out Looking Through Your Eyes.

“The song explores all possibilities,” said Roselle. “You know, what you see in him and what he sees in you. It’s a very meaningful song; bagay na bagay sa amin ni Allen.”

Defying the belief that long years of going steady usually render the lovers bored, thus driving them to, well, seek greener pastures, Roselle and Allen have grown fonder for each other through the years. Didn’t they pass the so-called seven-year itch?

“Well,” admitted Roselle, “four years into our relationship, we agreed to give each other space for two months. We wanted to find out how it felt to be apart for a while. Kasi di ba kapag ganyan na katagal, parang nagiging boring na ‘yung relationship?”

The trial separation did them good.

“We became open with each other; we learned how to bond even better.”

Roselle and Allen met through a common friend.

“After that chance meeting, he started calling me, watching my shows and visiting me at home. Sometimes, he would even visit me on the set of Tabing-Ilog in Pagsanjan, Laguna. Ang layo n’un, ha! He was very patient, matiyaga.”

Roselle was more than impressed.

“He lived in the north (Novaliches, Quezon City) and I lived in the south (San Pedro, Laguna) and the distance didn’t stop him from visiting me at home regularly on weekends. Na-meet niya ang parents ko.”

How did Allen get adjusted to having a showbiz girlfriend?

“At first, para siyang naiilang when we went out at medyo may atensyon akong nakukuha. He’s very shy, very private. But he has gotten used to it. He knows na that it’s part of who I am and he has to accept that.”

They are close to each other’s families.

“Both our families are supportive of us. Allen has only one sibling while I have two (younger) brothers.”

After the wedding, Roselle will continue with her career.

“Boss Vic (del Rosario of the Viva Group of Companies) told me that okey lang naman dahil singer naman ako, hindi actress.”

Secure in his own space, Allen is giving Roselle the go-signal.

“What I also like about Allen is that he doesn’t make pakialam with my career.”

They plan to spend their honeymoon in Hong Kong and Macau.

“I’ve been to several countries but never to Hong Kong and Macau,” said Roselle. “The Ladies of the ’90s (including Jessa Zaragoza, Geneva Cruz and Rachel Alejandro) are having a US tour from end of January to first week of February. We might proceed to the US from Macau to visit Allen’s brother who is based there.”

Roselle is a B.S. Marketing and Management graduate (from La Salle) and Allen, Computer Science (from Colegio de San Lorenzo). Together with Roselle’s manager Baby Pacheco, the couple own and manage Music Corner which offers courses in dancing, voice and piano/guitar-playing.

This is an excerpt from a personal note written by Roselle Nava on the jacket of her CD titled What’s Forever For (released by Viva Records). Listen to the CD and you will realize that Roselle has put her heart and soul into the 12 songs (all covers) including (aside from the title track) No More Rhyme, Lost in Space, I Love You All The Way, Heaven Knows, Fixing a Broken Heart, What Might Have Been, Miss You Like Crazy, Looking Through Your Eyes, As I Lay Me Down, Where Do Broken Hearts Go and What I Did For Love.

"We share the same music," Magdangal told “SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon.” “Hindi ko na [napansin] kung anong araw [naging] kami, anong anniversary. Parang alam mong destiny. Happy, happy kami."

Maganda naman ang dating kay Luis ng muli nilang pagkikita at pag-uusap.

"Kung anuman yung mangyari sa amin, what we have right now is a very good start," wika ni Luis.

NO NEW LOVE.
